How much of my money will reach my child/student or project?

At WCM we are committed to ensure that at least 80% of your money reaches its destination by managing all finances effectively.

Do I have to write to my student or child?

No, but a simple letter or card can be a great encouragement to them.

Can I write to my student or child?

Yes, we encourage regular communication with your child or student. We would ask that all letters are sent through us at WCM.

What will I receive as a sponsor?

You will receive a general news letter twice a year and school reports or a letter from your child/student twice a year.

Will my address be passed to my child/student?

No, all details are kept by WCM and not passed to the projects. We recommend that if you do send any letters or gifts you do not include your details as this can lead to you receiving begging letters.

Will I be the only person sponsoring that student or child?

Yes, you will receive full information on your student or child and you are their named sponsor.

How do we select the student or child?

This is done by the local Christians who run the project. They are the people with good    local knowledge and they can talk directly with the families in their community to assess who will benefit the most. The process is always done in consultation with the child's family if they have one.

Does WCM help just Christian Children?

No, WCM helps children and students from all religions, all parents are informed that the homes are Christian based and that Christian values will be taught.
