Child Sponsorship Programmes
The children's homes that WCM support provide a secure and loving environment for the children. Many are orphans, or are from families who simply do not earn enough to feed their children. When a child is found destitute and alone on the street they are often brought to the homes by a local resident.
All the boys and girls are educated at a local school and stay in the home until their future is secure. As part of our ongoing commitment to these children, we have English teachers who visit some of the homes on a regular basis, and also have vocational training opportunities to ensure that they are able to earn a living which will support them in the future.
These children's lives have been transformed. Destined for a life on the street, with no education, the cycle of poverty has been broken and these children now have hope in their lives.

Education Programmes
The education programmes that WCM support enables one child from the family to attend a local school. By providing money for food and rent for a family, they are able to support their child so that they can attend school to receive an education rather than getting a poorly paid job labouring or even begging on the street. Once the child/student's education is complete they are able to get a better paid job and help to support their family.

Feeding Centres
In the south of the Philippines, in Sipaway Island, WCM support a feeding programme which provides food for people who do not even have one decent meal a day. Food packages are delivered to families who live in slum areas and time is spent talking with, and offering hope to those whose lives need transforming. God's love is shared with them and many people receive words of hope and comfort, together with practical care.

Sponsoring a student through Bible college is an amazing opportunity to impact communities with Gods love. The period of study varies, most of the students undertake a three year diploma course. This diploma is a recognised qualification after which they can become a Pastor. WCM aim to provide financial support for the student and their family during their first year of ministry after Bible college. This gives them an opportunity to establish themselves without the worry of financial hardship. This sponsorship scheme offers the opportunity for you to play a major part in reaching hundreds of people with the Gospel.

Widow Support Programme
There are more than 33 million widows in India, comprising about 8 per cent of the total female population of the country. They receive no help from the government, and are looked upon as lower class citizens. The only help the widows receive is from their family and the programme that we support through the local church in Coimbatore. They meet once a week, where through our help they are fed and learn more about Jesus. Once a year we provide them with a new saree. To these women who have nothing its like we are giving them hundreds of pounds. Many were Hindus but through the love shown to them, through the church they have become Christians. To see them praying and to hear them worship is a great experience
